Wednesday nights are more of a child care time for all the kids

 

It's proven that the percentage of people becoming Christians before age 18 dwarfs the numbers
coming after age 18. Those under 18 are looking for Truth...they are "seeking" Truth. If they don't get "Truth" (with a capital "T") from their parents, they will seek "truth" (with a small "t") from other sources.
This is why it is so important for parents to become intentional in passing on a Godly heritage to their children. So according to the statistics, who should be labeled the true "seekers?" The obvious answer is... those under 15 years of age... our children! If we followed this line of reasoning, then what would a true "seeker sensitive" church look like? It would be a church that educates, trains, and equips parents to teach their children Biblical truth in the home - through everyday life - so that their children become committed followers of Christ. That is our job as church leaders and parents. Heritage Builders was started 10 years ago to give parents easy, effective tools to use accomplishing this formidable task. By strengthening the family, we strengthen the church.
